Dr Elizabeth Fisher
Lizzie is a registered Clinical Psychologist with experience supporting adults across a range of mental health difficulties within public mental health services. She takes a warm, compassionate, and collaborative approach to therapy, creating a safe and respectful space where clients can explore challenges, build insight, and work towards meaningful change.
Lizzie recognises that a strong therapeutic relationship is central to effective treatment and tailors therapy to each person’s unique needs, strengths and goals. She is trained in a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
Drawing on these approaches, Lizzie helps clients better understand their thoughts, emotions and behavioural patterns, develop practical coping strategies, and make lasting changes that support a more fulfilling and values-driven life.
